Salix purpurea 'Jagiellonka'

'Jagiellonka’, is a robust and fast-growing willow variety that is sure to make a statement in any setting. This variety starts with purple-green stems that mature into a lovely shade of olive-green with highlights in shades of red-orange, adding visual delight to your landscape. Once established, ‘Jagiellonka’ is a good basket willow with rods growing 6-12’ each season after coppicing. This variety is believed to have been named after Queen Anna Jagiellonka of Poland (1523-1596).
